HI GUYS!

Long time no….talk? If you haven’t heard, I’M MOVING TO LA! Things have been crazy busy, so please excuse the delayed posts!

Last weekend I got to attend VIDCON! I went with OMG!It’sEddieGee, LaCooquette, and El Guzii. We had SO much fun! Here’s a quick recap before I get into the storm of it.

On my way to California I saw something amazing…..

A SIGN FOR REALLY GOOD FRESH JERKY. Amazing, right? lolol

ANYWAAAAY. At a Univision party they had the Bumbys there. They are a couple who gives out, “A Fair and Honest Appraisal of Your Appearance”. Which basically means they look you up and down and write their opinion of you. Here was my person, lol.

Annnnnd here is what she said:

OK, now let’s talk about the boobs part…the HABOOBS. I mean.

I asked Toyota if they could lend me a car for the trip, and they said yes! I got to drive the 2016 Toyota Prius to drive all the way to Anaheim. I bonded with this car, and not because I blasted my music accompanied with a lil shimmy dance,

but because I got caught in a HABOOB.

What’s a Haboob? Here’s the official definition:

“A haboob (Arabic: هَبوب‎‎ habūb “blasting/drafting”) is a type of intense dust storm carried on an atmospheric gravity current, also known as a weather front. Haboobs occur regularly in arid regions throughout the world.”

This is typical for AZ summertime. My family and I will usually sit and watch it pass on by, it almost became traditional.

This time ya girl was stuck IN IT. I thought the world was going to end. I called my parents all calm and cool…until I heard my mom’s voice, then I was like:

“MOM I’M STUCK IN A DUST STORM AND IT’S SO SCARY IDK WHAT TO DO I LOVE YOU”

The storm lasted about 30 minutes and shook all the cars on the road….AND MY SOUL. IT SHOOK MY SOUL TOO.

Fortunately, I felt so safe in the Prius. I knew it was going to keep me safe because we had bonded. Once you sing “Breakin’ Free” from High School musical at the top of your lungs, you’re bonded for life.

As far as the car? It was just a little dusted.

Thank you SO MUCH to Toyota for always being so nice and providing me with a car. If you watched my snapstories during that week, you know I had fun in the car!

WHAT THE WHAT?!
Just wanted to share this for all my Disney peeps!
This is an abandoned theme park in Japan, and apparently it was very much inspired by Disneyland. It’s pretty creepy.

I had to pray the rosary after watching this incase any bad juju or omen tried to attach to my spirit. (I’m half joking btw)

The guy in the video, Exploring With Josh, has a YouTube channel dedicated to exploring abandoned theme parks and sights.

He even climbs a freaking rollercoaster in this video. I immediately subscribed after that, because, ya know…danger and stuffs. lolol

Hey Guys!

My family and I just got back from the 10th annual Crafty Chica Cruise! For those who don’t know, my mama is pretty much a rockstar and gets about 50+ crafty women on a cruise to craft. This year we went to Cabo, Maztalan, and Puerto Vallarta!

We had to drive to Long Beach with my parents, cousin Dusty, and NonnieChula….including  20 bags. Yes, about 3 bags for each person with additional cruise supplies in boxes. Being the anxious person that I am, I was like,

“HOW DO WE TRANSPORT DIS”

I remembered that my family and I reviewed the Kia Sedona a while back, so I wrote to them and they said YES! My family was like,

You’re welcome, fam.

One of the many cool features of the Kia Sedona was the DVD player! We got to watch our old family videos. I even watched my as a teenager. Let’s just say he looked like a punk… LOL

Luckily, this was the smoothest part of our trip. The actual cruise has some adventurous moments to say the least. Which will all be explained in this week’s video! But as far as fitting all the luggage in the car, that was a bit of a challenge, considering it’s like a game of Tetris. We put all the big luggage on the bottom, then the smaller ones on top. After that we just stuffed all the extra swag bags. AND IT WORKED! lol

Last week was thanksgiving and now it’s December…WHAAAA?
It was such a crazy week between errands, work, family, friends, and FOOOOD.

Thankfully Toyota gave me a Highlander for the holiday week to keep me and my family sane! Here are some cute pics of me and my cousins:

While I had the car I thought of doing this YouTube challenge called, “The 7 Second Challenge” created by well, YouTubers!

OMG. What a fun game. You can check it out here!

They also gave me a starbucks giftcard to buy someone’s drink! If you’re on my snapchat, (@mayainthemoment) you probably saw how nervous I was. I didn’t record the lady’s reaction because, well, um that’s creepy and awkward LOL. While I was in the drive thru I told the barista I wanted to buy the car’s order behind me and he was like, “what! omg yes!!! I love that!”. Then I pulled up front to check out her reaction. I rolled my window down and when the barista told her and  she SCREAMED, “WHAT? OMG”

IT WAS SO CUTE.

I waved at her and smiled but I don’t think she understood because she made this face:

I didn’t care because her first reaction was GOLDDDDD. ugh. so.cute. LOL

Thanks to Toyota for the wonderful experience and highlander! I had so much fun! I definitely encourage you guys to #PayItForward this holiday season! (And also probably every other season lol)

As you know, I call myself Lazy Girl when it comes to, well, everything. I always try to look for the easiest and low maintenance way of doing things. Especially with chores. *groaaaaaaaan*

Recently, I’ve teamed up with Tide to show you all that the laundry struggle is OVER! There’s actually an easy one step way of doing laundry now, with Tide Pods. Did you hear me?! EASYYYY!

This is GR8 news considering I’m still learning how to “adult”. haha

This is what the Tide Pods look like, they are these cute little packages of awesome, that are made up of three compartments that are 2x as strong as regular detergent. All packed in that pod! And, they smell gr8!

My boyfriend pillow was becoming a little stanky, so I decided to try the pods out! All you do is drop the Tide Pods in, and you’re good to go! No measuring cups!

While you wait, take a couple selfies! Umm, totally optional btw..the packaging is just so bright, I thought it’d look cute in a selfie, ok…

I’m really excited to do laundry now! However, as you saw in the main picture, I really do have all that laundry left to do. #oops lol

BUT! I have some tips for those who aren’t laundry savvy (like me) coming up in a video next week!

Hey Guys!

As you all know, I’m working with the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Program  which encourages you all to get involved with the community. I was so inspired to get involved within my own community, so I found an organization that I wanted to spotlight called Fresh Start Women. It is an organization that provides guidance and self-empowerment for women going through career changes, domestic violence, and more. I brought my mom with me to tour the facility!

They hold several seminars for self-esteem, yoga, career services, etc. For certain seminars, EVERYONE in the community can join in. We learned so much about what they do for the women in the community, and a little about ourselves too!

What I found really moving was the fact they encourage asking for help. This really hit home because one of my insecurities is asking for help. I feel dumb. A burden. Prideful. Why do we feel this way? They really instill that asking for help isn’t showing weakness- it’s actually extremely powerful and shows strength. I think it’s really amazing they give women in need everything they need to succeed. The CEO was even a Fresh Start alumni! After touring I’m definitely going to volunteer my time with them! Make Ukulele lessons? How to be a Princess lesson? (lol) I’m so inspired!
