It was such an amazing experience filming this video for AT&T’s Uverse Wireless Receiver (which is pretty cool…), and I’m so happy how it turned out!
But I have to be 100% with you guys…I wasn’t so confident in the beginning.
These were my thoughts when I got the call:
“OMGGG! YES! YES! YES! What an awesome opportunity!!! I’ve never filmed an actual COMMERCIAL before though…Wow, AT&T?! With Lejuan James? That’s legit! Who am I to even be considered for this?! Omg I need braces. And prolly lose about 4598390583940 pounds before I go. I have gas now.
UGH! I CAN’T DO THIS. HALP HALP HALP”
Eventually I got my life, and realized I needed to STOP with the self doubt. What was I supposed to do? Turn it down? Let my insecurities win? LOL NOPE. HELLO, THIS IS HUGE!!!
I ended up having one of the best trips of my life. Not only because I got to work with amazing people, but that I pushed past my self doubt. NEVER be a prisoner in your own mind or body. Allow yourself to experience life, love, and new opportunities! Challenge yourself.
