Welcome back! I know school is a drag sometimes, but here are some projects that’ll ensure you a spot at the cool table. Okay, well I can’t guarantee that but it’ll make you look super fashionable! I always lose my pencils and pens and can never find the right pencil pouch. Why not make your own using a sandwich bag and Scotch® Color & Pattern Duct Tape bold and bright on-trend colors? You’ll probably need a folder to go with as well. Let’s go!
SUPPLIES:
-
One Double Zipper Sandwich Bag (6inchs)
- Scotch® Color & Pattern Duct Tape
-
Sunshine Yellow
-
Blue Turquoise
-
Dottie
-
Craft Knife“STILL SUMMER POUCH”
STEP 1: Draw a line in the middle of the sandwich bag and cut. If you want your pouch to be smaller, cut closer to top. Larger, cut lower.
STEP 2: Measure your sandwich bag’s width, then cut four strips of duct tape with a craft knife. After this, put two strips on one side, then the other. There should still be an opening at the bottom if the tape didn’t all the cover.
Step 3: Seal the bottom and sides. Add some flare! It made a cute little bow by cutting a 15″ strip with craft knife. Cut two half-inch strips for the backing and the center of the bow. Then fold long strips together, and fold ends into center. Using one of the two half-inch strips, seal the back. Pinch center to create the bow look, and wrap the last half-inch strip around the bow.
“ZIG-ZAG COLOR POP FOLDER”
STEP 1: Measure your folder’s width, then cut six strips. I cut three in one color, and three in another. To make the colors POP, I choose yellow and turquoise blue, since my folder is bright green.
STEP 2: With a craft knife, cut a zig zag pattern. Basically, move the knife up and down till you reach the end of the tape, then go back and connect the zig zag. Place these on your folder.
STEP 3: If this doesn’t pop enough, add a bow!
