Disney’s Lady & The Tramp DVD/Blu-ray GIVEAWAY!

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a Disney fanatic! I’m a softie for sappy love stories and Disney flicks always deliver the “aaahhhhh!”
This week is a big deal around here  because Lady and the Tramp has just been released on DVD and Blu-ray. It’s loaded with all kinds of great features that will last long after the movie has ended.
• Blu-ray(TM) Feature Film + Bonus
• DVD Feature Film + Bonus
• Diane Disney Miller: Remembering Dad
• PuppyPedia: Going To The Dogs
• Never-Before-Seen Deleted Scenes
• Never-Before-Heard Deleted Song
• Inside Walt’s Story Meetings With Disney Second Screen
• Lady’s Pedigree: The Making Of Lady and the Tramp
• “The Siamese Cat Song”: Finding A Voice For The Cats
• And Much More!
Here is a bit of trivia about Lady and the Tramp. It went down in history as the studio’s first Cinemascope animated picture – and it was also the first time that Disney made an original full-length story that wasn’t based on a tried and true fairy tale. Thank goodness for that because where would we be without that classic spaghetti eating scene? Swoon….
If you don’t remember the plot – Lady is a pampered pooch who gets pushed to the sidelines when her owners bring a newborn into the house. After being set up by some conniving Siamese cats, Lady runs away and meets the streetwise, yet totally charming Tramp. He shows her a whole new side to canine life, steals her heart and the rest is history.
GOOD NEWS! LIKE me on Facebook (one entry) and/or leave a comment below (two entries) sharing your favorite Disney movie and I’ll choose TWO WINNERS to win a free DVD/BluRay copy of Lady and the Tramp! Two entries max per person, contest ends this Sunday, Feb 12, 11:59 pm.

Love, Maya

  2. Lady and the Tramp is my favorite sappy Disney movie. Oliver and Company is my favorite over all. I love the songs, I use too dance too them as a kid all the time 🙂

  3. My favorite disney movie is Alice in Wonderland ” If I had a world of my
own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing
would be what it is, because everything
would be what it isn’t. And contrariwise,
what it is, it wouldn’t be, and what it
wouldn’t be, it would. You see?”

I can’t wait to share all the Disney movies with my 14 month old.

  4. My favorite Disney movie…hmm…difficult to choose. It is a toss up between The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh and Mary Poppins.

I have never actually seen Lady and the Tramp, but would very much like to see it as I might be the last person on the planet to not have seen it. Not sure how I missed it.

  5. I already like you on Facebook. 😉 my favorite Disney Movie is The Little Mermaid! I love Mermaid… Thanks for sharing!!! And giving me a chance to win! I have not seen Lady and the Tramp in years. Since I was a kid I think?

  6. my fave is Snow White :)cuz she is white as snow, rosey cheeks and dark black hair, and who wouldn’t want seven lil men helping out around the house! LOL

    1. oh wow! thank you!!!! lol when I saw wisdm I thought to my self hey?! I like to go by wisdm I wonder if that’s me? lol I’m such an air head! you know I won your mommies crafty tote bag contest many moons ago, and now this! yaaay! thank you once again 😀

  7. Thank you for sharing Maya. I LOVE this movie. It was the first VHS movie we owned WAY back when VCRs first became affordable for us poor people. My MIL bought it for me for my birthday on the condition I would let her watch it too. We still have it in the family. The case is worn and cracked from the many viewings by my (grown) children and oldest grandbaby. My favorite part is when the little Scotty tells Lady what a baby is, “…you won’t be permitted to play with it…”. I am such an animal nut, I cry when Shadow doesn’t appear with Chance and Sassy at the end of “Homeward Bound” (even though I know how the movie ends).

  8. liked you on FB for awhile now…. but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie (Bella Noche was my wedding song and my husband gave me the Lenox famous spaghetti scene as my bride’s gift on our wedding day)
